2008 Running plans xxx??

Its been a hectic 1st quarter of the year , cannot chase after the rat.....haha

January was filled with organising the company annual dinner, and then busy with chinese new year , eating eating eating.....eating eating////

I did not run after my last GE30km., as my knees hurts teribbly ,when I walk , Can't even think of running at the moment. It hurts even more, when I get out from my car, the pain in the knees are so painful that I need to stand for a moment --to get the blood systems flowwing., then only i able to walk.

I went to see Dr William Chan, got a few x=rays, scan--see my own knee when he explains the darks spots are arthritis deveoped after 20 years of running--at moderate level.
Everyone will get it , at 50+ , 60++ , 70+++ , its just that I got it early due to my running !!!!
He also blamed me that I shouldnt wear my old shoes ( i think i have 5 pairs ), of cos' I had a new one which i wear during competition and i wear a old one during training.

He prescribed me :-\\\Celebrex 200mg x 1 tablet daily after fd- anti-flammation
Viartril-S Glucosamine sulphate ( powder type ) x 1 sachet daily bf meal.

I would like to says , that , after taking it , i dont feel the pain,when get down from my car after driving for 1 hr.

Well, have to take care., and also would like to get back to running.

Running is a passion, a place to meet friends and de-stress.
Running is a exercise, to keep myself healthy, can feel a bit heavy now that 2 months has gone without any exercise.

ADVICE : run on grass, take out swimming ( cannot swim lah ....70.00 swimming lessons /month at masushita swimming pool ), walk.
Gym > considering...
