Putrajaya Breakfast Run.

Pusing pusing here pusing there.....
it's madness this quite place at 6.30am...peter saw the signboard to the Wetlands but i am on
the wrong side of the road.
I was looking for the next U-turn, but , the stupid town planner did not have 1 at all especially
to lead to newcomers like me to the wetlands. Wetlands are tourist destination.

Again pusing, pusing .. Along the way, we ask Petrol kioks , " tak tahu " , we recognise the huge building where all the big shots stands and take photos. Finally, my instinct and patience took me out of the Lost Zone ( govt area ) and then we see cars... cars , surelah...all the faces inside the cars are kaki lari. We just follow lah.

The starting point at the field was quite and nice. Pacesetters and friends are the only ones
using the field. As usual , we get to warm up and off, we ran to the direction of the leader.
There was 2 route: 5km and 10km

From the main road, it off -track into the country road with alot of stones . No birds, no animals, just some ponds.
I enjoy the run, i ran the 5km as i want to be real easy to eat my breakfast !

When we hit back onto the road, there was no car in sight and i wonder whether i am in putrajaya or not ! So deserted, so clean , so quite , so peaceful - but ironically, i dont recommended running alone not even the guys !

200- runners , okeh -lah - pacesetters-style-ma..

Cheers to the organising committee for that wetlands experience.

Looking forward to the next breakfast run.

Adidas - King of the Road

Yesterday, Adidas - King of the Road Run starts from the entrance of the Sunway Pyramid heading into the NPE , and it was a nice re-location from the traditional road race at Dataran Merdeka.

I took part in the 10km pacing my daughter who has stop running for the last 3 years., without much training she managed to get the medal and was happy to meet some old friends.,too.

For me , it was another run after the Seremban.

Among my pacesetters members, was Lee Foo Kien who came back from Penang to participate in the KOTR.
Met 2 new members: Liang and Premasingam.

The weather in the morning was good and the 10km runners did not really get so much heat as compared to those taking in the 21km. The hot sun was hitting their back on their way back to the finishing line.

Review of the organisation:-
Vest - most of them were not satisfy as they cannot get their sizes. Everyone likes the bring yellow vest. I got mine changed from S to L as last minute.
Route - ok , for me the 1okm.
Water station - ok

Photography - not ok as the sun were shooting against the camera. ( a cameraman's comment) ,haha.

Overall, it was an enjoyable run.

See you in next Sunday's PJ Half Marathon.
